"The Dance Age" (in Mandarin and Taiwanese, "跳舞時代") was written by the grandfather of Taiwanese pop, Teng Yu-hsien (鄧雨賢), in the early 1930s. In 2016, we created and recorded a swing jazz arrangement of the song as part of a collaborative project with Taipei dance group Naughty Swing. We also recorded a few of our other favorites from the 78 rpm era, and then invited DJ Chamber to top off this EP with a modern remix.
